Where Did He Go? begins in the disorientation of resurrection morning and follows the first followers of Christ through shock, grief, doubt, wonder, recognition, waiting, and finally mission. The story moves from the empty tomb to locked rooms, roads, shorelines, and gathering places, until the fearful become witnesses and the scattered become sent.
The project does not treat resurrection as a neat ending. It asks what happens after the miracle, when the people who loved Him still have to make sense of absence, memory, calling, and change. That gives the piece its emotional center: not only “He is risen,” but “How do we live now?”
Where Did He Go? is presented as a project by Voice Followed.
As the play develops, biblical scenes are paired with modern echoes so the audience can feel that these moments are not locked in the past. Fear, waiting, second chances, unfinished understanding, and renewed purpose are all experienced both then and now.
NOW opens the emotional door of the project — grief, shock, love, and recognition all arriving in the same breath.
Where to listen
Will You? turns the story toward the listener. The question is no longer only what happened then, but what we are being asked to do now.
